Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Dent Press when you request or receive paintless dent repair service. Last updated May 19, 2026.
1. About these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website dentrepaircharlotte.com and any paintless dent repair (PDR) services you request from Dent Press ("we," "us," "our"). By contacting us for service or using this website, you agree to these Terms.
2. Our services
Dent Press provides mobile paintless dent repair (PDR) for vehicles in Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas. PDR is appropriate for dents and dings where the original paint finish is intact. Damage involving cracked or chipped paint, severely stretched metal, or torn panels may require traditional body shop repair, which we do not provide. We will tell you honestly when PDR is not the right approach.
3. Estimates
Estimates provided by text message, phone, or this website based on photos or descriptions are preliminary and given in good faith. The final price is set after we inspect the vehicle in person, because dent size, depth, panel location, and underlying damage often cannot be fully assessed from photos.
If the in-person assessment changes the estimate, we will tell you the revised price before starting work. You may decline service with no obligation if the revised estimate is not acceptable.
4. Scheduling and cancellation
Once you approve an estimate, we will confirm a scheduled time and location for the repair. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us as far in advance as possible — at least two hours before the scheduled appointment when feasible — so we can adjust our route.
If we are unable to perform service at the scheduled time due to weather, customer unavailability, or other reasons, we will reschedule at the next mutually available time at no additional charge.
5. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of the repair, before we leave the site. We accept cash, check, Venmo, CashApp, Bitcoin, and other cryptocurrency. For insurance-paid repairs, see Section 8 below.
6. Workmanship
We stand behind our workmanship. If a repair we performed develops a defect due to our work — for example, a corrected dent returns through no fault of subsequent impact or environmental cause — contact us and we will assess the issue at no charge. Specific warranty terms for your repair are discussed before service.
Workmanship coverage does not include: new damage from later events (other dents, collisions, hail, vandalism, etc.); damage to surrounding parts caused by pre-existing rust, corrosion, or weakness in the metal or paint; or repairs performed on customer-supplied vehicles outside the scope agreed to in writing or by text.
7. Customer responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate information about the damage and the vehicle, including any prior repairs or known conditions affecting the panels we will be working on. You are responsible for ensuring the vehicle is available at the agreed time and location, and for ensuring we have safe and lawful access to the vehicle.
8. Insurance claims
When repair is paid by an insurance carrier, the insurance settlement is between you (the policyholder) and your carrier. We will write a repair estimate, communicate with your carrier, file supplements as needed, and where the carrier permits, accept direct payment from the carrier. The customer remains responsible for the policy deductible and any portion of the repair not covered by the carrier.
Insurance settlement timing varies by carrier. Payment to Dent Press is due upon completion of the repair regardless of any pending insurance review, except where direct billing has been pre-arranged.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dent Press's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to a repair will not exceed the amount paid by the customer for that repair. Dent Press is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of use of the vehicle.
This section does not limit any rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection law that cannot be waived by agreement.
10. Website use
The content on this website is provided for informational purposes. While we work to keep information accurate and current, we make no warranty that the content is error-free. Use of this website is at your own risk.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or our services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Service requested after a change is governed by the updated Terms.
